Are You Sitting Down? It is Now Discriminatory To "Over-Promote" Minorities

A black police bodyguard assigned to protect the Duchess of Cornwall has reached a settlement with the London Metro Police for "over-promoting" him. He claimed the only reason he obtained the prestigious position was because he was black. However, because he was unqualified, it lead to his re-assignment. This will soon happen here and, quite frankly from an American law perspective, it makes sense. The argument will be that an employer is discriminating against its minority employees by promoting them even though they are not qualified in anticipation that they will fail and then be terminated or reassigned. It is inevitable.
